Our school choir and some of our teachers took part in the Peace Proms 2015 on the 1st of Feb 2015 in the RDS in Dublin.
With 39 children they joined the other children’s choirs in a wonderful musical evening. The children were fantastic and really enjoyed the experience!! On behalf of Ms. Malone and Ms. Mohan we would like to thank all the choir children for their hard work and dedication over the past few months and your efforts shone through at the concert. Also we would like to thank Mrs. Costello, Ms. R Lynch and Ms. Benton for helping out on the day.

SID-logo-square-1024x576Safer Internet Day is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people. It is promoted in Ireland by the PDST Technology in Education and Webwise, and will be celebrated in Ireland on Tuesday 10th February 2015.

2015 will be the twelfth edition of the event. This year’s call to action is, “Let’s Create a Better internet Together” and the hashtags are #SID2015 and #Up2Us.

Every class in our school will do lessons on internet safety this week. An “Internet Safety Tips For Parents” booklet created by Ms. Audrey Lynch will also go home to every household.
