The girls in Mrs.White’s class made cars from recycled materials. The
challenge for each group was to design a car that could move when
given a gentle push. Once they succeeded in getting the wheels to
turn, they had great fun making doors, windows, number plates and
exhaust pipes. Maybe they have designed a car for the future!

Last November the pupils in Mrs.White’s class, Ms.Whelan’s class and Ms. McHugh/Ms.Mullin’s class participated in the MS Readathon. A total of €2495 was raised for this worthy charity. The funds raised are used for services for those living with Multiple Sclerosis in Ireland. The girls read a huge number of books during the 4 week period.
